Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to Cutline, a non-generative tool that removes backgrounds from user-supplied product images.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using Cutline, you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Cutline for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.
2. The service
Cutline removes backgrounds from images supplied by users and formats successful results as clean product images. Cutline does not provide text-to-image generation, face swapping, deepfakes, or synthetic image generation. Processing quality can vary with the source image, and you are responsible for reviewing results before publishing or using them.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. We may restrict or suspend accounts used in violation of these Terms or to protect users and the service.
4. Your images and intellectual property
You retain ownership of images you submit. You grant Cutline a limited, temporary right to transmit and process each image only to provide the requested background-removal result. You confirm that you own the images or have all permissions needed to process them and that your use does not violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
5. Payments, credits, and expiry
Prices and included image credits are shown on the Pricing page before purchase. Plus and Pro are one-time purchases, not automatically renewing subscriptions. Purchased credits remain valid for 30 days unless the checkout states otherwise. A credit is deducted only for a successfully delivered result; failed processing attempts do not use a credit. Payments may be processed by Creem or PayPal under the selected provider's terms.
6. Refunds and support
Contact support within 14 days of purchase if you were charged twice, could not receive the purchased service because of a verified technical failure, or believe a charge was unauthorized. Used credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We aim to respond to support and refund requests within three business days. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use Cutline for illegal, abusive, deceptive, infringing, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, pornographic, NSFW, exploitative, or non-consensual content. Content involving sexual exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited. The full rules appear in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Availability and disclaimers
We may update, secure, or temporarily interrupt the service. Cutline is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every background-removal result will be accurate, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular marketplace or purpose.
9. Limitation and changes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cutline is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss arising from your publication or use of processed images. We may update these Terms and will post the new version and date here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
